A Different Side of Tuscany

Experience Tuscany beyond the postcard landscapes with an authentic journey through Chianti, local craftsmanship, wine culture, olive oil traditions, and historic villages. This experience is designed for travelers who want more than a classic sightseeing tour. It is a deep immersion into the authentic Florentine and Tuscan way of life, guided through stories, traditions, and genuine local connections. The journey begins in Impruneta, a village internationally known for its historic terracotta tradition. Here, you will visit the historic Mariani furnace, where Tuscan terracotta craftsmanship has been preserved for generations. This is the same land and tradition connected to the famous tiles used for Brunelleschi’s Dome in Florence. From earth to olive oil and wine, the experience continues at the beautiful Diadema estate, where you will discover an authentic stone olive mill and enjoy a tasting of 2 olive oils and 5 wines. Many of these wines are produced in the same terracotta amphorae crafted in Impruneta. The tasting is accompanied by a traditional Tuscan platter. The route then moves into the heart of the historic Chianti region, surrounded by rolling hills, vineyards, olive groves, and breathtaking countryside views. You will explore Montefioralle, one of Tuscany’s most charming medieval villages, perfectly preserved and rich in atmosphere. The experience continues toward the historic Badia a Passignano, surrounded by cypress trees, ancient walls, and the timeless landscape that defines Chianti. For lunch, you will stop at a local Chianti winery for a wine tasting experience combined with authentic Tuscan hospitality, vineyard views, and local flavors. The final stop is dedicated to another iconic Tuscan excellence: leather craftsmanship. At the Piero Tucci showroom and workshop, you will discover the artistry behind traditional Florentine leather production and have the opportunity to purchase products directly from the factory. At the end of the day, return with unforgettable memories, authentic stories, and a deeper connection to Tuscany.

Booking Information & Policies

PRIVATE TOUR This experience can be booked as a Private Tour for up to 8 guests. The total price for the Private Tour is €1,200 per group, regardless of the number of participants, up to a maximum of 8 guests. Private Tours can be booked directly online. Full payment is required at the time of booking. Bookings must be made no later than 48 hours before the scheduled departure and are subject to availability. SHARED TOUR Shared Tours are available subject to availability and require a minimum of 6 participants. Prices start from €190 per person. Shared Tours cannot be booked directly online. Availability, final pricing and booking arrangements must be confirmed directly with the Tuscan Unfiltered team via WhatsApp before booking. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, Tuscan Unfiltered may propose an alternative date or other available options. CHILDREN Children are welcome. For Shared Tours, children under 2 years of age participate free of charge. Children aged 2 to 12 years are charged €90 per child. These child rates apply only to Shared Tours. For Private Tours, the total group price and any applicable child conditions are those indicated during the online booking process. Child safety seats are available upon request at no additional cost. All minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Alcoholic beverages are served only to guests aged 18 or over, in accordance with Italian law. CANCELLATION Private Tour bookings may be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled departure, with a full refund of the amount paid. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before departure are 100% non-refundable. Late arrivals preventing participation and no-shows are also non-refundable. Cancellation conditions for Shared Tours will be confirmed directly with the guest as part of the booking arrangements. WEATHER & OPERATIONAL CHANGES Tuscan Unfiltered may cancel or reschedule the experience due to adverse weather conditions, safety concerns, operational reasons, supplier unavailability or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control. In these cases, guests with a confirmed Private Tour booking will be offered either an alternative date or a full refund. SAFETY Tuscan Unfiltered reserves the right to refuse or terminate the participation of any guest, without refund, if their behaviour compromises the safety, comfort or enjoyment of the experience. This includes abusive, aggressive or discriminatory behaviour, failure to follow safety instructions, damage to vehicles or property, illegal activities or excessive alcohol consumption. Where necessary, local authorities may be contacted. ACCESSIBILITY This experience includes visits to historic villages, countryside roads, vineyards and rural locations. Some areas may feature uneven surfaces, gravel paths or historic streets that are not fully accessible. Guests with reduced mobility, medical conditions, allergies or special dietary requirements are kindly asked to contact Tuscan Unfiltered before booking so that suitable arrangements can be evaluated whenever reasonably possible.
